The Christmas season in Grimma enchants with festive lights, fragrant treats and over 30 lovingly decorated stalls against the impressive backdrop of the historic Renaissance gable of the town hall. A colorful stage program, the lovingly designed fairytale forest and the little Muldentalbahn train ensure happy faces for young and old guests alike, while "Grandma Helga's Alpine Hut" is the place for crafts, games and celebrations. Highlights include the stollen award ceremony on November 30, the historical market in the monastery church, the model train exhibition and the arts and crafts market in the town hall on the second weekend of Advent.
