Days of traditional handcrafts in the Ore Mountains

This year, more than one hundred manufactories, museums and associations will once again open their doors for the Days of Traditional Crafts, which are unique in Germany. Here in the Erzgebirge, you can get a taste of real workshop air. Experience authentic traditional craftsmanship in all its diversity.

Learn exciting background knowledge about sustainable production and individual design. Experience first-hand how art is created by skilled masters. Hands-on activities often even allow you to get creative yourself and try your hand at different craft techniques. With a range of regional specialties and traditional delicacies, there will also be plenty to eat and drink.

The locations of the participants extend across the entire Erzgebirge from Stützengrün in the west to Glashütte in the east of the Erzgebirge. Please note the routes and times when planning your tour! An overview of the participants will be published in June 2025.
