Before the winter hike, relax by taking the Fichtelberg Railway from Vierenstraße station up to the spa town of Oberwiesenthal. On foot, you reach Vierenstraße by turning right onto Poststraße, passing the ski slope and the valley station of the cable car, then uphill to the start of the hike.
