Wilsdruffer Bahntrassenrunde

We start in the city center of Meißen at the market place and go via Marktgasse to Roßmarkt, where we turn right onto Neugasse. After a few meters, this becomes Talstraße and leads us into and through the Triebischtal, past the MEISSEN ® porcelain factory, through the Meißen-Buschbad district and Garsebach until we turn off in Semmelsberg in the direction of Wilsdruff.

For the time being we go uphill until we reach the street "Zur Preiskermühle". There we turn right and immediately left towards Helmmühle. We follow the paths of the former small railroad along the small Triebisch and turn right onto the Helmmühlenweg. We continue to Kobitzscher Weg along the small Tribisch. Before we reach Ullendorf, however, we turn right and come over the path Am Birkenwald and Grüner Weg to the crossroads Haupstraße on which we turn right in the direction of Taubenheim.

We follow the main road for a few minutes until we turn left again onto An der Silberstraße in the direction of Klipphausen. At the crossing Silberstraße in the district Sora we have to look to the right and discover the alpaca farm. The friendly animals come right up to the fence with interest! The journey continues via Klipphausen and Sachsdorf along Willsdurfer Straße to Wilsdruff. In this small town it is worthwhile to take an ice cream break directly at the bakery near the market. Via Wielandstraße and Nossener Straße we head out of town again. We turn left and cycle along the beautiful cycle path of the former railroad line "Freital - Potschappel - Nossen" to Helbigsdorf. There we turn to Blankenstein and roll over many fields to Tanneberg and Perne. However, so some hills offer challenging short climbs again and again, before you can roll into the long Triebischtal in the direction of Meißen and arrive in the city center back at the starting point.
