Along this route, which runs through the entire town and Augustusburg Castle, you will be provided with many pieces of information about the rhododendrons themselves, the history of Augustusburg, and individual buildings. Rhododendrons have long been a part of Augustusburg's history and greatly shape the town's appearance. For this reason, the idea for the Augustusburg Rhododendron Trail was born.
