Bike route through the Schwarzwassertal

The start is at the hiking car park in Hinterer Grund in Pobershau. Along Schwarzwassertalstraße, it goes about 6.5 km through the nature reserve towards Kühnhaide. At the Stone Bridge, turn right and follow the New Bridge Trail up to the Pobershauer Flügel. Up to this point, the route is marked with the green bike path symbol. Then continue straight on Pobershauer Flügel to the Niederer Steinweg junction. At this point, turn right towards Katzenstein, passing the mountain tavern at Katzenstein, to Bergstraße, and from there back to the hiking car park.

The route only runs on forest (bike) paths or on little trafficked public roads. All inclines are steady but moderate.
