Every year, Leipzig's Christmas market on the market square delights visitors with around 250 to 300 festively decorated stalls.
At the center of the Leipzig Christmas market is the traditional Christmas tree, which lights up the square for Christmas. A varied program with Santa's Christmas carols and musical performances creates a festive atmosphere. A special highlight are the daily trombone sounds from the balcony of the Old Town Hall.
