The OL 100 - Oberlausitz radherum combines unforgettable 620 km circular cycle path that showcases not only the scenic and cultural highlights of the region.

The OL 100 combines unforgettable 620 km circular cycle path that showcases not only the scenic and cultural highlights of the region - it also connects the most famous theme cycle routes. This makes the route not only rich in extension and shortcut options, but primarily a feast for demanding and culture-loving cycling holidaymakers. Hardly any cycling region in Germany unites so many highlights - pure variety in every direction! In the north, the glacially shaped landscape in the UNESCO Global Geopark Muskauer Faltenbogen impresses, as well as the largest man-made water landscape in Europe - the Lusatian Lake District. In the south, the bizarre rock formations of the Zittau Mountains Nature Park or the gentle uplands of the Upper Lusatian Highlands with the half-timbered houses leave a lasting impression.

Two further UNESCO titles grace the roadside: the Upper Lusatian Heath and Pond Landscape Biosphere Reserve and the Prince-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau. Variety is offered by the towns of the Upper Lusatian Six-Town League: Germany's easternmost town Görlitz, also known as "Görliwood", the over 1,000-year-old German-Sorbian Bautzen, Zittau with the famous Lenten veils, Löbau with Europe's only cast-iron tower, and Lessing's birthplace Kamenz. Charming gems complement the already rich palette: Germany's oldest Cistercian convent St. Marienthal Ostritz, the oldest simultaneous church Dom St. Petri Bautzen, or Saxony's most beautiful country Baroque complex Schloss Rammenau. If that's still not enough, there are numerous possibilities for a detour, such as to Polish Lubań or Czech Liberec.

Our top tip along the route:

The Landskron BREWERY MANUFACTORY

Experience the traditional craft of brewing art in Germany's largest brewery manufactory! Particularly recommended is participation in one of the varied guided tours through the brewery. Let brewers, beer sommeliers, and cellar masters take you on a route through the extraordinary monument.

Some tours offer, along with tasting of exquisite Landskron beers, a hearty snack to strengthen visitors.
