The Marienberg Christmas Market offers a diverse range of Erzgebirge wood art, herbs and spices, textiles, cosmetics, gift items and, of course, many fragrant and tasty treats.
This year, it will also be open for three weeks, from 29.11.2023 to 22.12.2023. A very varied cultural supporting programme ensures a pre-Christmas atmosphere and joy when visiting the Christmas market.

The highlight of the pre-Christmas period is the weekend of 3rd Advent. On Saturday, numerous courtyards in Marienberg town centre open their doors and enchant you with their individual charm. On the Sunday of the 3rd Advent several hundred traditional costume wearers and mountain musicians will once again parade through the town for the traditional mountain parade.
