Maker Festival UWE

For two days, on 6 and 7 June 2025, the former Etzdorf substation, known as UWE, will be transformed into a large gallery whose walls will be designed live by international artists and the public, among others. Built in the 1920s, remodelled several times and used until the 2000s, it has been a place of creativity in the Striegis Valley for five years. Graffiti, stencils and murals are created between old switch cabinets. Anyone who wants to can build digital sculptures or screen print posters. A place of technological history becomes a walk-in work of art and a centre of attraction for makers from near and far.
