On the first Sunday of Advent, 03.12.2023, the 20th Hohnstein Christmas Market opens its doors at 11 am. Along the Rathausstraße, the Rathausplatz, the Marktplatz and at Hohnstein Castle, numerous stalls invite you to take a Christmas stroll. The local associations and restaurateurs provide food and drink. Local culture is presented on the three stages. It is probably the most romantic Christmas market in Saxon Switzerland: picturesque alleys, great light and a venerable castle towering over the small town. You'll miss out on the first Sunday in Advent if you don't make your way to Hohnstein. The market is open until 6 pm on the first Sunday of Advent.
